purple tux and bow

im so proud of myself- i painted my first bow! i started this by using essie's lilacism as a base and essie's smoking hot for the tips, dots and bow. to make the tips i used scotch tape and for the dots and bows i used a dotting tool.

spring trends

according to glamour magazine the color trend of the moment are shades of green. i like essie's, navigate her from the spring 2012 collection which is a blend of seafoam and pea soup.

spring tips!

i decided to do a twist to the regular french manicure by painting the tips of my nails in spring essie shades instead of the typical white. i used a mix of fiji and limo scene as the base and for the tips i used fiesta, turquoise & caicos, and tart deco. all bracelets from express.
